British Virgin Islands 2009 Centenary of Naval Aviation Coin
Since 1909, the Royal Navy’s Fleet Air Arm has pioneered the use of aircraft from land and sea to defend and protect the United Kingdom and its overseas interests.
To commemorate the Centenary of Naval Aviation, the British Virgin Islands has issued a magnificent new coin featuring one of the Royal Navy’s most famous aircraft, the Fairey Swordfish, returning to the escort carrier HMS Fencer.
