On 21 December 2007, Queen Elizabeth II became the oldest reigning monarch, surpassing her great-grandmother, Queen Victoria, who died in 1901 at the age of 81. This historic coin celebrates the Queen Elizabeth II’s remarkable achievement and shows the four royal effigies that have graced legal tender coins during her long and glorious reign.
