To commemorate the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics, Pobjoy Mint is delighted to announce the release of a brand new series of Coloured Uncirculated Cupro Nickel Coins on behalf of the British Virgin Islands. This stunning new series features four coins that each feature a different summer sport. This set features two well-established sporting events and two events that will appear at the Olympics for the first time in 2020.
This set will include:
- Equestrian
- Kayaking
- Surfing
- Skateboarding
Each coin's design features an image of each sport with the wording "Olympic" at the top of the coin and the denomination of the coin at the bottom. The obverse of each coin carries an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II which is exclusive to Pobjoy Mint.
