British Antarctic Territory Commemorates 60 years from it's Formation in 1962
Posted: January 20, 20222022 marks 60 years since the formation of the British Antarctic Territory in 1962. The UK’s claim to this part of Antarctica is the oldest of any made on the continent. Pobjoy Mint announced the release of a brand new £2 coin to commemorate such history milestone.

The Queen's Beasts Series: A Royal Birthday
Posted: November 29, 20212021 marked HM Queen Elizabeth II's 95th Birthday, and in celebration of this, Pobjoy Mint released a 10 coin series depicting the Queen’s Beasts on behalf of the British Indian Ocean Territory.
The Queen’s Beasts are 10 heraldic statues that represent the genealogy of HM Queen Elizabeth II, with each beast depicting a Royal Supporter of England. Upon HM Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953, they stood in front of the temporary western annex of Westminster Abbey and were originally uncoloured except for their shields.

Team GB Equestrian Athlete Oliver Townend Presented with Coin from Pobjoy Mint
Posted: July 08, 2021Taya Pobjoy, Mint Master and Head of Pobjoy Mint Ltd, had the opportunity to meet Oliver Townend, British eventing rider, and presented him with our Summer Olympic Games: Equestrian 50 pence coin issued on behalf of the Government of Gibraltar. The Mint Master presented the coin to Oliver and wished him good luck on his journey to Tokyo.Read more » -
